GENOA: Inland Sailors with @devamusicorum The wind is invisible, yet it shapes us—tightening, directing, carrying, or resisting. GENOA: Inland Sailors is a duet disguised as a trio, exploring the dance between human beings and surrounding forces. In the movements, we see the sail’s duality: drifting and steering, surrender and control. At its core, the piece is about shared rhythm and harmony. The performers learn to move with the wind, to let impulses become natural and instinctive. Interdependence is no limit but a possibility: a sensitive balance where every gesture affects the other. The wind is no longer only an external force, but a partner—shaping, completing, and flowing with the dance. Your presence, your fire, your freedom—you are the ceremony. My journey with this magical gathering began in 2014. A first-timer then, but something ancient inside me remembered. Since that year, I returned again and again—drawn by the rhythm, the rawness, the real. OZORA became part of my orbit. I’ve been always performer at the festival but in 2016, something shifted. I was invited to be dancer of the opening ceremony. And in that sacred space, I was spellbound. I felt the pulse of the Earth through our collective heartbeat. From that moment, a flame ignited in me—a deep urge not only to dance, but to create, to give back, to build altars out of art. And now, four years into living my dream—co-creating the opening, shaping visions with a tribe of luminous beings—I feel nothing but awe.
