Putting together a Showreel is and always will be such a humbling process. Looking back at the projects I’ve filmed and directed allows me to understand what I truly enjoy, what I need to keep working on, and most importantly, how much fun I’ve had along the way. From TVC productions to one-man-band projects in remote locations, I’ve found that what really moves my needle is the genuine human connection with those in front of my lens. In a world increasingly filled with digitally generated humans, going deeper into the stories of our subjects is more important than ever.

Can't believe I'm saying it, but Black Eyes is premiering at the 50th edition of @banffmountainfestival in Canada next month 🔥 A festival I've been following closely since I started using my camera to capture the outdoors. However, it is fair to say its most important screening has already happened, there, with them, looking them smile, react and enjoy what we filmed together. I can't thank enough to every person that has touched this film in one way or another, you know who you are!

For the reopening of their flagship store in Melbourne, @uniqloaus wanted to champion the city and the people that make it so unique and interesting. After 8 years living here, I'm still lucky to look at it with fresh tourist eyes, and that's what I wanted to bring into this campaign. These are the Director's cut ✂️ Big thanks to @madethis.aunz , @ainsleelittlemore and @ac___cd for trusting me on this one. Black Eyes just took the Best Short Film award at the 29th Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (@thevimff ) out of more than 100 films in competition 🤯 Before spending a big chunk of my savings to get into this project, a personal one, I always had second thoughts about if it would be worth or not... Well, certainly was. This one goes for more personal projects to come! 🙌

Stills from the @miniaustralia Charging Stories we shot at the end of last year. I grew up watching my ‘Tito’ working tirelessly in his shed on his two MINIs; they were his treasure. That’s when I understood that MINI owners stay true to the brand legacy. Tom and Tamsin, publishers of @greenmagazine and @walkersjournal , are true MINI owners. In their words, the All-Electric MINI was a revolution for them, aligning with their values of intentional and low-footprint living around Airys Inlet, where we shot this piece. Capturing these stories felt like a full-circle moment, working on a MINI, just as my grandpa used to. Thanks for having me! Stills from a cool ❄️ project I shot for @intrepidtravel in Mongolia that have been sitting on a drive for a while. "The serene beauty, the incredible stillness, and all this vast land at your feet. Winter is when the country really comes alive," Timur, our Intrepid tour leader, told me as we drove to our first location. Winter tourism in Mongolia is still a hidden gem. The goal of this project was to capture the magic of this country when the crowds are gone and the landscape is still. If overcrowded beaches aren't your thing and you prefer the sound of silence, Mongolia in winter is exactly where you need to be.

Koguis are the descendant of the Tayrona civilization, known as the Jaguar people, residents of the tallest coastal mountain in the world Gexa (Sierra Nevada). Koguis believe that everything in the universe is interconnected and forms a 'living fabric,' where nature is sacred. 🍃 As the 'Elder Brothers,' they must maintain the world's balance, viewing artisanal weaving as an extension of this creation, an act of harmony, connection, and a representation of life itself. To them, it is not merely a garment, but a reflection of the cosmic order and ancestral wisdom. For our honey moon, I wanted to visit the Amazon, @andrea.rpomeza wanted to visit the Tayrona, and I'm happy I followed her. ❣️

This one feels like a dream! 🤩 Black Eyes picked up gold at the Australian Cinematography Society Awards (@austcine.vic ) For so long I've felt a bit like an outsider to this industry, coming from a different country and starting a bit late in the filmmaking landscape, but this award really feels like coming home, getting recognised by the people I always looked up for inspiration. Congrats to all the other talented cinematographers that picked up awards and thank you @michaelincolndp for the encouragement to submit my work.

It's not often that we can identify a turning point in our lives or careers; they usually become clear in retrospect. But being part of the 50th anniversary of the @banffmountainfestival made it instantly clear that this was one of those moments. This festival was the first film festival I knew of, and I grew up watching the filmmakers who inspired me for so long screening their films here. This year, it was my turn to present my short film, 'Black Eyes'. Not content with just that, I entered their first-ever pitch competition with 'Echoes of Memory,' a project I'm currently developing—and to my complete surprise, I WON!!! The stories were true: BANFF and the Rockies 🇨🇦 are magical and a complete paradise for those who breathe the outdoors and adventure. I know this won't be the last time; this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship with this place!
