So beyond excited to have this album FINALLY out in the world! It’s goofy ass instrumental music, and I love it so so so much.
Things I had in mind while putting the album together:
1) Making art is fucking rad
2) Birds are fucking rad
3) Being kind to yourself is fucking rad

+ @_scribblistic took my half baked collection of inspiration and just knocked it out of the park with the album art.

The music that followed was an embodiment of what it means to play Black American Music: it’s a celebration of community and collaboration built on a foundation of love. It’s improvisatory, but keenly aware of the context in which it exists. It’s Music Of A Moment.
