@massgovernor & CAM announced $1.8M in M2I2 awards to three MA manufacturers, supporting projects expected to create up to 62 jobs across the state.
The awardees are: • Feon Energy, based in Woburn, who will use the funding to build a pilot-scale manufacturing line & battery evaluation center to scale advanced electrolyte technology, with research & workforce partnerships. • @highlandparktech , based in Somerville, who will use the funding to establish a manufacturing line producing energy-efficient cladding systems, supporting production scale-up, workforce training & industry collaboration. • @terrestrial_bio , based in Woburn, who will use the funding to automate & scale its manufacturing line for microneedle array patches, while advancing workforce training, research & knowledge-sharing across the sector.

The 2026 MA Municipal Cybersecurity Summit brought together municipal leaders, employees & cybersecurity practitioners in Worcester to strengthen cyber readiness across MA.
Hosted by MassCyberCenter at the @dcucenter , this year’s summit focused on “Empowering Cybersecurity Leaders” & the shared role communities play in safeguarding digital public spaces.
Across the day, attendees learned about emerging threats targeting municipalities, explored statewide cybersecurity programs & took part in collaborative discussions focused on strengthening local preparedness. The summit underscored that cyber resilience depends on shared awareness, trusted partnerships & continued coordination across cities & towns.

CAM recently convened the Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative (AMC) at @stonehillcollege to continue their work on shaping a long-term vision for MA’s manufacturing sector.
The meeting brought together leaders from industry, academia & government to discuss development of a strategic five-year roadmap for manufacturing in MA. Additional discussions focused on the 2026 Manufacturing Mash-Up & opportunities for AMC members to support ongoing ecosystem coordination.
The agenda also included perspectives from @stonehillcollege on photonics & optical engineering programs that are helping strengthen the advanced manufacturing workforce pipeline. The convening reflects continued collaboration to align priorities, support innovation & expand long-term competitiveness across MA’s manufacturing ecosystem.

MeHI is bringing together the MA digital health community on June 3 from 12 - 5 p.m. for MA Digital Health Forward. Hosted at the @UMass Club, this annual event focuses on how digital health solutions are moving from concept to implementation, with speakers & discussions centered on real-world impact across the state.
This year’s program features two fireside chats exploring active healthtech pilots at MA health care organizations: • Designing a pilot of remote monitoring to prevent asthma attacks in Medicaid patients featuring UMass Chan Medical School, Community Care Cooperative (C3), & myBiometry. • Piloting AI interpreters in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) featuring HealthFirst Family Care Center & Lexi.

MeHI & MBI recently participated in the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers’ 2026 Community Health Institute (CHI) Annual Conference, engaging community health leaders around digital health innovation & connectivity.
MeHI Director Keely Benson, Director of Digital Health Innovation Katherine Green & Account Manager Angela Miller, PMP connected with community health centers & shared how emerging technologies & implementation models can support care delivery.
At the conference, MeHI sponsored the Innovation Hub, a curated space where attendees explored solutions designed to help providers navigate rapid change including presentations from five companies in MeHI’s Sandbox programs: psyche care, Greens Health, SGAI Healthlink, Lexi & SimpliFed, each showcasing tools for telehealth navigation, AI-enabled care management, remote diagnostics, medical interpretation & maternal health support.
MBI Director Jody Jones & Broadband & Digital Equity Grants Manager Caitlin Schubert attended to support a session on Using Data & Storytelling for Telehealth Innovation. The work featured in this session was funded through MBI’s Digital Equity Partnerships Program & a grant supporting digital navigation efforts that expand access to telehealth services.
