As UMass celebrates our graduates during Commencement, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the incredible staff working behind the scenes to make every moment possible. Your hard work and commitment to our students and families do not go unnoticed. Thank you for helping create such a memorable and meaningful celebration for #UMassGrad2026. Special thanks to our Southwest Custodial Services and Maintenance teams for their incredible work behind the scenes. In less than 24 hours, they prepare nearly 1,000 rooms across three residence halls to welcome overnight guests.
