A defining moment of the Vanguard Fellowship Bootcamp 2.0 was the session with Mr Wale Edun (@officialwaleedun ), Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy (@finminnigeria ). His presence brought national significance to our mission and affirmed the importance of investing in young entrepreneurs. He explained governance as a practical system that shapes business outcomes, emphasising that stability, transparency and clear policy are essential foundations for entrepreneurial growth. He highlighted reforms in digitalisation, revenue modernisation, infrastructure expansion, manufacturing and agriculture support, energy transition and PPP-driven development, all designed to unlock opportunities for youth-led ventures. Mr Edun encouraged our fellows to take full advantage of federal opportunities including grants, tax incentives, export support, innovation funding and PPP frameworks that enable SMEs to participate in national development. He reaffirmed that Nigeria’s drive towards diversification, industrial expansion and digital transformation is an open call for young innovators. Public-private partnerships are now widening access for small businesses, giving them a pathway to scale and to contribute meaningfully to economic growth. Beyond policy, Mr Edun has consistently demonstrated personal commitment to the next generation. His support for young entrepreneurs, both through national programmes and through his direct encouragement of emerging talent, reflects a genuine belief in the potential of Nigeria’s youth. His engagement with our fellows was a powerful reminder that opportunity grows when leadership opens the door. Under his guidance as Finance Minister, reforms supporting stability, job creation and infrastructure are lowering barriers for young founders. For many of our fellows, this means that daring to dream is becoming easier and more achievable. Mr Wale Edun’s leadership remains strategic, inclusive and deeply reassuring. Today, we celebrate not just a minister, but a mentor whose work strengthens the entrepreneurial ecosystem and reinforces the message that Nigeria’s greatest assets are its ideas, its resilience and its people.

Day 7 at the Mary Ojulari Vanguard Fellowship Ignite Bootcamp was nothing short of transformative. We didn’t just have speakers, we had giants and core thinkers reshaping our understanding of leadership, finance, and community. The Honourable Minister of Finance, Mr. Wale Edun (@officialwaleedun ) of @finminnigeria drew us deep from his well of economic insight. Beyond the policy talk, he delivered a personal, exclusive, and powerful message directly to the fellows, leaving the room silent in reflection. Honourable Gbolahan Olusegun Yishawu (@goyishawu ) Member of the Lagos Assembly, offered deep leadership insights, highlighting government support for SMEs and ways entrepreneurs can seize these opportunities. The CEO of Herconomy, Mrs Ife Durosinmi-Etti (@ifedurosinmietti ) shared invaluable lessons on financial confidence, intentionality, and the power of community. Her session was a blueprint for building, growing, and sustaining value, individually and collectively. It was one unforgettable day for us at the bootcamp #MaryOjulariFoundation #VanguardFellowship #IgniteBootcamp #ExhibitionDay #FellowsInAction #SMEs #LagosBusinesses #InspirationDaily #MotivationForSuccess #GrowthMindset #LevelUp #ImpactMakers #UnforgettableMoments #MentorshipMatters

Every industry leader who engaged with the bootcamp was carefully selected to align with the purpose and vision of our fellowship. Their contributions spanned leadership development, strategy, practical insights, mentorship, and financial support, including access to funding opportunities. The experience mirrored an intensive MBA, driven by a strong lineup of industry stakeholders. Feedback received during and after the programme continues to highlight how the two-week journey reshaped mindsets, transformed participants, and inspired the development of sustainable business models. A society’s youth can only be considered weak when those with access to opportunities choose to hoard them rather than nurture and expand pathways for others. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 of the Vanguard Fellowship. 2025 was an exceptional journey, made possible by the collective commitment and impact of all involved. #MaryOjulariFoundation #Elevate #Bootcamp

Formal education alone is not sufficient, which informed the creation of an enabling environment to support young people as they begin their entrepreneurial journey. This position was articulated by our Principal, Mrs Mary Ojulari (@adepeggy ), whose commitment to youth development continues to drive impactful initiatives. She explained the origin of the Ignite Bootcamp off the Vanguard Fellowship, and emphasised the necessity of such interventions, noting that youth empowerment remains a collective responsibility to society. #VanguardFellowship #Impact #Mof

Every story has a beginning, just as every seed is sown with purpose. The journey of our principal was shaped by an act of goodwill, a relative who stepped in and assumed significant responsibility following the passing of her father. That single gesture of kindness became a lasting spark. In reflection, it continues to inspire her commitment to extending love and support to others, irrespective of background or circumstance. She recognises that life unfolds in unexpected ways, often through moments that ultimately define us. Today, we hear from beneficiary families of our programme as they share a heartfelt testimony of that selfless act. “We rise by lifting others” is not merely a quote; it is a way of life and a necessary tradition. As we spread our wings, we remain steadfast in our mission to touch lives, one act of kindness at a time. #MaryOjulariFoundation #Impact #Elevate

Stepping into 2026 with grace, gratitude and quiet joy. 2025 was a beautiful stretch for me. A year of deep work, purpose and alignment. Impact was made, lives were touched, and along the way, my own wellbeing grew stronger. I learned to lead with intention, to rest when needed, and to trust the process. The Mary Ojulari Foundation turned 1, and what started as a simple dream became real impact for humanity. I am proud of what we built, grateful for the lives changed, and fulfilled knowing the work truly mattered. Rooted in who I am, honouring where I come from, and confident in where I am going. As I stand here today, it is 7 months to my 50th birthday. My golden jubilee year has begun, and I have stepped into it with a heart full of praise, peace and expectation. I feel grounded, joyful and excited for what lies ahead, for the Foundation and for me personally. 2025 was a success. 2026 feels promising. And I am dancing forward with gratitude. #GratefulHeart #PurposeDriven #ImpactWithIntention #GoldenJubileeSeason #WomenInPurpose

A powerful reminder that progress is intentional, shaped by our choices, actions and collective responsibility. The future we aspire to does not happen by chance; it is built through vision, courage and the deliberate steps we take today to create the tomorrow we desire. #Motivation #MOF #TonyElumelu

We received a diary from a real estate entrepreneur, Matthew from Osogbo 💌 He has great properties to sell but struggles to talk to people and build trust. We all agree that social anxiety in an entrepreneur makes networking and client conversations hard. Community members, what advice can you give him? Let’s help an entrepreneur! #DiaryOfAnEntrepreneur #MaryOjulariFoundation #EntrepreneurCommunity
