Staying true to her branding, I wanted soft, earthy tones and textures to surround her pieces. When I took a closer look at the glaze through a macro lens, it reminded me of a bird’s-eye view of different parts of the earth, something I found so intriguing.
This collaboration was a lot of fun for me. I spent an evening in the studio, music turned up loud, fully in the zone for hours. Definitely my kind of meditation.
