this @elleaus feature is extra special to me for a few reasons:
my first time shooting @thehohaus melbourne (more to come once I get it together properly)
my dear friend @paulinapaige is the new creative director of @elleaus and this is her first issue (and in print nonetheless!)
and it was photographed by @jmtubera who I met in Manila a decade ago while he was assisting a magazine cover shoot 🇵🇭 he now shoots @sunniesface and @sunniesstudios campaigns regularly and it is my favorite thing in the world seeing local creatives thrive
also, I got to feature a lot of my favorite Australian made pieces (hello @dinosaurdesigns , @sarahellisonstudio , @curated_spaces to name just a few)

with as little bias as possible, @thecommonshealthclub is the best gym / bathhouse I’ve ever been to and everyone who experiences these spaces shares the same sentiment
a lot of what makes @thecommons so special is a reflection of @cliff_ho 🥹 he is endlessly generous, welcoming and warm (and also the most obsessive person when it comes to the customer experience)
you feel it in the attention of the instructors, in the welcome when you walk in and in the small design details and amenities (which he rightfully consults with me over)
everything is thoughtfully considered and designed to make you feel like home and I feel so lucky to have this as my second home in Australia 🇦🇺
