It’s BABA YAGA with her chicken house coming back in comic form!!!! 👹🌲🐓 I drew a bunch of Baba Yaga comics back in 2018ish, and then dropped off when shit hit the fan in my life all at once. But I kept missing Baba, and a lot of things have turned around in my life since the first round…so she’s baaaaack! And I can’t wait to tell you share more comix about Eastern Europe’s most beloved cannibal witch alongside all the other stuff I do!

About a year ago, I tried drawing a longer overshare comic. Between a few boneheaded decisions and some creative block, it took me nine effing months to finish it. Now that I’ve got some time to burn while attempting to escape Florida post-snowpocalypse…my Hourly Comic Day from a couple weeks ago! So nice having it on a weekend so I could incorporate my friends instead of drawing about my workday for the nine millionth time. And I had to throw some stickers on it all because it’s me :o) I did have one thoroughly unhinged panel in the mix but I’ll put that up along with the rest of the on Patr3on once I return to Philly and have access to my computer again. That’s where all of the weirdest stuff lives! Along with WIPs, figure drawings, blog posts bc I’m forever stuck in 2009, etc. Your support over there really does help! Rats rats rats!!!! 🐀🐀🐀 loved tattooing these sweet pets, inspired by a receipt drawing by Fred. I love tattooing my friends! :o) Why yes my books are open for tattoos out of my home studio! Scheduling anything in my life has been a lil up in the air for the last month or two because I am about to begin an exciting full-time job (!!!!!) but I’m just about done with onboarding and tentatively scheduling stuff again! Designed a poster for my buddy @sarahmackattack who hosts BAD ART FOR GOOD! The world is McF*cked in a million different ways. Yet art still finds a way to educate and inspire and build solidarity (and even bring joy??) in the bleakest of times. Really proud of Sarah for using art to build community and to make the world a better place. My soul may be desiccated but I still believe in the power of art!!!
