Ever since falling down the rabbit hole of specialty coffee, i’ve found great joy in sharing coffee with others.
Some time in May, I came across a video of a guy serving espresso from a little stand at a golf course. I thought to myself “wow I wish I could do that.” The realization then hit me that I absolutely could if I was willing to work for it. In that moment, MarsCoffees was born.
Within a week I had an order in place for a
@eureka__grinders Oro XL, and had made contact with
@anchorcoffeehouse about purchasing a
@lamarzocco Linea Mini, a beast of an espresso machine that I never imagined myself having the privilege of owning.
By mid June my home contained a fully kitted cafe. Hosting friends had never been more fun. The rest of my free time became filled with research and branding. I ordered business cards, purchased a web domain, and applied for a business number.
Yesterday, Aug 2, 2024, I had the privilege of hosting my first pop-up cafe at
@windsorrockgym ’s 8th anniversary party. After weeks of planning, the execution was nearly flawless (thanks to some help from my friends at
@chancecoffee ) and I had the absolute best time.
I am incredibly grateful for all of the people who have helped me make MarsCoffees happen, and am so excited for what is to come.
