The Shape of Bricks is an installation I designed while working for PLP-Architecture. This sculpture looks back at the roots of the clients @ballymore who began their journey in the brick industry. It is placed in the lobby of The Embassy Gardens building in London.
For ages brickwork facades have been the unconscious scenery of London and of people’s daily lives. If only these walls could talk... By unraveling the two components into mortar (a bronze cast) and bricks (eco-resin) people are encouraged to reflect and remember. These pictures are made by @millimetremakes who made this installation with their incredibly skilled team.
