So I did a thing today. My Tama Rockstar kit is happy since she was uncovered, dusted off, and showed some love. Now I have a practice kit and she sounds sweet! A couple little tweaks need to be made but she's a-rockin' just fine! The toms are 12x11, and 13x12 with a 16x16 floor tom. The kick is 22x16. I'm using my 14x6.5 Ludwig Tequila Sunrise Vistalite, with Sabian Cymbals, 19 in. AAX Dark Crash, 20 in. AAX Heavy Crash, 22 in. AAX Omni Ride, 14 in. AAX Stage hats with the bottom hat on the top and a 20 in. Wuhan Dark China. The heads are clear Remo Emperors on the top with Ambassadors on the bottom with a Pinstripe on the kick, and Controlled Sound on the snare. The hardware is Tama with some Gibraltar mixed in. The pedals are Tama Iron Cobra with a DW 9000 hihat stand. Stoked! It feels good to bust her out and give her some action. It's been over 10 years!
