About half a year ago, I wrote my very first video prompt. Huge thanks to @nadine.menger and @ivarleonmenger for finally pushing me into it 🙏❤️
Working with AI still gives me mixed feelings.
I’m fascinated by what’s already possible — and uneasy about the ethical and energy costs behind it.
Sometimes it feels like the early days of trying to make MiniDV footage look cinematic with a Mini35 adapter. Other times, like a child who constantly misunderstands me — until it suddenly does something brilliant.
And yet: fascination wins.
There’s a strange freedom in finally turning ideas that lived in my head for years into something visible.
I never thought I’d tell a Western story.
A frontier town. Rugged characters. A female sheriff.
The biggest challenge? The characters.
AI wants everything smooth, polished, beautiful. Fighting against that is part of the process.
And maybe that tension is exactly the point.

Midsummer in the finnish archipelago
I have been there several times hiking, paddling and cycling, always around midsummer and it always blew my mind.
All my love goes to my friend Matthias who showed me around and opened up my mind for the spirit of that place.
He died two years ago and I miss him very badly.

A sleep out with my son at #avalibeach
One of our most favourite places we discovered on our camper van journeys threw #greece.
Its a small and remote beach, with turquoise water and the most nice beach-cantina i ever saw.
A beautiful place with delicious food, made by lovely people and friends.
We wanted to stay one night and stayed 10 days and nights😀

After using my IG & FB more for my directing stuff, I decided to also post some more privat things.
I call them Magic Moments. Mostly moments I experienced hanging out or traveling with my family.
Monets that somehow got stuck in my head and still give me goosebumps. So I decided to share them with you.

LAKE AOOU
we found this very remote and beautiful place while traveling Greece in 2019.
We somehow found it by accident, which makes it even better and also points out what I love so much traveling with a camper van.
Just stay were you like it best.
After having a beautiful night next to the lake, I did an early bird bike tour seeing all kinds of animals and also wild horses.
It felt a bit like a water hole in an African Wild Park. Very Magical. I feel very thankful for this experience🙏
