Biblo.tv is proud to have been closely involved with this project. Class of 96 is a sport docuseries currently streaming on Netflix. The story illustrates that there is strength in diversity, and that South Africa can perhaps be the greatest sporting nation in the world â if you keep politics out of it. Our genre-spanning sync library gave the editors and directors instant access to underground African gems. We facilitated nearly 40 unique licenses from gifted artists like @prodbykaeb@daniel_lobel@richard_the_third_music , @garyreubenmorris@grant_sissons â to name just a few.

It has been an honour to work alongside such creative forces in telling this monumental story, capturing the hope and pride our nation felt in the 90s.
This story illustrates that there is strength in diversity, and that South Africa can be the greatest sporting nation in the world - if you keep politics out of it. This was Coach Clive Barkerâs belief. The story takes on a deeper dimension when you consider that this series was written and directed by his son John Barker @johnbarker183 : a monument to his fatherâs legacy, a decade in the making.

@markus_wormstorm is a music producer and film composer whose work spans global campaigns and also one half of the legendary Real Estate Agents.
Signed to Sound Ink NY Records at just 19, Markus has collaborated with artists such as MF DOOM (as Viktor Vaughn), Burna Boy, and Die Antwoord, while developing an âexceptionally sophisticatedâ sound praised by Rolling Stone. His work extends into gaming, including projects for EA Games and the widely downloaded mobile game Petting Zoo with illustrator Christoph Niemann.
He is the recipient of several major awards, including AFISA-Hollywoodâs Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music (2024), the Annecy Special Distinction Award, and the SAFTA Award for Best Original Score, South Africaâs Oscar contender. His work has also earned Clio, Loerie, Summit, and Ciclope Awards, alongside nominations for Cannes Lions and the Annecy Cristal.
Based in Cape Town, Markus works from his 5.1 studio, blending classical recordings with cinematic electronic sound design.
