It’s almost a week later and we still trying to fully comprehend what went down last weekend. Literally years of hard work, dedication, and passion coming together for a single moment in time.
For now all we can do is thank everyone that has been involved since day one. Too many to name but you know who you are.

A defining chapter in electronic music history lands on African soil. Jeff Mills, one of techno’s most influential architects, has announced South African tour dates celebrating 30 years of Live at the Liquid Room - the seminal 1996 recording widely regarded as one of the greatest DJ sets of all time.
The Detroit pioneer will perform in Johannesburg at 1 Fox Junction (27 March 2026) before heading to Cape Town’s Apollo Warehouse (28 March 2026), marking a rare appearance that places South Africa firmly within techno’s global lineage.
As a founding member of Underground Resistance, Mills helped define not just the sound of Detroit techno, but its philosophy - precision, futurism, resistance, and discipline. His legendary residency at Tokyo’s Liquid Room became a turning point for DJ culture, reframing the DJ set as a live, immersive art form rather than a sequence of records.
This anniversary tour revisits that era with the same intensity and intent, honouring a moment that reshaped dance music while engaging new generations of listeners.
