Nick Hood, VDC Mechanical Manager, is this quarter's Excellence Core Value Award Winner.
Excellence is the standard he holds himself to, the energy he brings to every project, and the example he sets for the people around him. Our clients and teammates recognize this as well.
Thank you for what you give to this team, Nick!
That's a wrap on Safety Week at M3!
This week, we took a step back to reflect on what safety really means here at M3 and how deeply it runs through the way we plan, work, and look out for each other.
Looking forward to celebrating the next #ConstructionSafetyWeek.
Meet our Continuous Improvement Core Value Award winner: Marvin Chen, Project Engineer.
Marvin was nominated by a teammate who saw firsthand Marvin's drive to learn, improve, and help out his team.
Thank you for being an inspiration to everyone around you, Marvin!
Safety Week isn't over yet. We took our Safety Stand Down on the road to Reno to be with our Nevada team in person.
The agenda covered the Fatal Four, STKY, and the pillars of Recognize, Respond, and Respect. The session closed with a raffle and recognition of our Nevada team for their contributions to our growth as a company.
Wherever we go, our safety culture follows us.
Yesterday, our field team took time to attend our annual Safety Stand Down. This meeting is a moment to pause operations and address safety head-on.
Every year, we bring our field teams together for:
- CPR and AED training
- Fall protection/Harness training and inspection
- Arc flash inspections
Capped off with a raffle to celebrate the team.
In an industry where falls, arc flash, and cardiac emergencies can take lives, this training ensures our people are prepared before they ever need it.

In celebration of Safety Week, we're recognizing the people and practices that keep our team safe on the job site, in the field, and everywhere in between.
At M3, safety isn't owned by a single person or role. Every tradesperson, every foreman, and every project team owns it. It's built into how we plan the work, how we execute it, and how we look out for each other.
Join us as we shine a light on safety at M3 throughout the week!

We are lucky to have you on the team, Bo!
April is National Welding Month, and this year the American Welding Society is marking 30 years of recognizing the trade.
