Our Olympian Style Series continues with Mark Tewksbury - Olympic gold medalist, speaker, author and Red Seal–certified chef 🥇 Working with @csialberta , we had the opportunity to style a group of Olympic athletes - both for their RWG Gala and in looks that reflect their everyday lives. @marktewks day-to-day moves between two distinct worlds - time in the kitchen and time on stage. His approach to style mirrors that balance, combining classic tailoring with more relaxed, modern pieces. With the espy team, he explored a wardrobe that feels polished yet easy - versatile enough to move seamlessly between both sides of his life. Swipe through to see the looks, and explore the full lookbook through the link in our bio ➡️

Congratulations university of Calgary on your 60th birthday! Hard to believe how much campus has changed over the past 30 years since I was a student. I guess people that were there in day one said the same thing 30 years ago. It’s fun to see progress!

What a fun night to tape CBC’s The Current in front of a live audience in Calgary great to see Matt Galloway in person again, and to be part of a lineup of Calgarians sharing our city with the rest of Canada. Hope you enjoy the show - if you missed it live, it airs this morning and I’m at the top of the second part of the show which is about 33 minutes in!

It’s great to live in a city that supports a robust music community and one of the country’s top music festivals. We joined in the excitement this morning to celebrate the lineup launch for the 47th Calgary Folk Festival July 23-26, that included a concert by Mariel Buckley, Polo Show and more. We were already stoked by the pre-launch announcement featuring Psychedelic Furs, and Goldie Boutilier, but our enthusiasm peaked today with the full lineup announcement featuring nearly 70 artists from around the world. It’s going to be a great Festival! Thanks Kerry and Sarah for leading this stellar year, and to all the staff, volunteers and sponsors that make it happen!!

Gulf Island Getaway! What a beautiful trip to Mayne Island with great friends. Audrey and Betty Anne became best friends in a refrigerator box over 50 years ago. ... (Doing puppet shows for pre-schoolers). How cool for Karen, Mark and I to be together with them now in this amazing place. We are so grateful to Betty Anne and Karen for hosting us. So many great walks, sea lions watches, delicious meals, stories and laughter shared.

Oh, what a night! Celebrating the athletes of the Paris and Milano Olympic and Paralympic Games with The RWG Gala, a fashion show fundraiser for @csialberta , so unique and fun. Huge shout out to @espyexperience for dressing the legends. Always a joy to share the stage with other champions from different eras. The highlight of the night were the returning athletes, working the runway in their Paul Hardy @paulhardydesign Personalized Designs. Rob had the best seat with @mobsquad.canada - thanks to the table hosts and organizers. Thanks to the Canadian Institute of Sport and congratulations to all the athletes.

Last night, our showroom came alive. Together with @gibsonfineart , Interior Living transformed into the setting for an unforgettable evening with @marktewks Inspirate dinner series. An experience told in three acts, guests were guided through a thoughtfully curated evening of culinary delights and libations — all woven together with moments of connection, conversation, and presence. It was a beautiful reminder that the spaces we create aren’t just for living… they’re for gathering, sharing, and creating meaningful experiences. #YYCEvents #yycfoodies #CalgaryInteriors #GibsonFineArt ExperientialDining #CalgaryDesign

I’ve been focusing my attention on new ventures for the past few years (more to come on that soon), but I remain grateful for my speaking career that hit 37 years old in 2025. Although I have needed to scale back travel and stay closer to home during this period, 2025 began in January with a big pharma sales conference in Florida and ended with the CAF awards ceremony in December (thanks to my friends at Chateau Laurier Ottawa).  It’s been an honour to speak to so many audiences this year about what it takes to be a leader in this era – themes of agility, resilience and excellence resonated with my audiences. Some of the many highlights this year included speaking to the staff of the BC Legislature (and speaking from the House Floor); my 2nd annual keynote for 5000 first-year University of Calgary students with a Dino cheer follow-up (oh yes I did!); One Young World, my annual summit of global youth leaders in Munich; and speaking at the Canadian Armed Forces Sport Awards to top military brass and the remarkable athletes they honored.  After all of these years, I finally realize that my public speaking career has no end date; it will always be something I do. And why not? Like a good wine, a speaker should get better with age.  Looking forward to more in 2026!  Happy New Year everyone.
