This year marked the first time we partnered with the incredible local men’s mental health organisation, @seansplaceuk each year gifting one man from Sean’s place the opportunity to join us for 5 days on our @awakealpharetreats in the freezing Slovakian countryside. Our guest this year was Nick @wogga122 . And although he won’t mind me saying he was one of the elders of the group, we couldn’t be prouder of him. Watching him face his fears, and with the support of the group, take on that final cold dip with strength and determination was something special. It’s a powerful reminder of what’s possible when you surround yourself with good men who all have your back. Yesterday was incredible. 🙌 The sun was shining, the energy was unreal, and the community showed exactly what can happen when people come together. People supporting each other, showing up for each other, lifting each other all while putting on an amazing day for the kids this Easter. This is why I do what I do. This is what it’s all about. Because no one should have to suffer in silence. If you’re watching this and you’re struggling you don’t have to do it alone. Be part of something like this. Be around people who care. 🐣🪩🎉 What a brilliant day we had at today’s Easter Celebration at @theislagladstone 🎉🪩🐣 Hundreds of members of the community came together to enjoy an amazing range of activities from discos and Easter egg hunts to party games, animal shows, arts & crafts and so much more… 💚 We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who made the day so special: Everyone who donated and supported our local food bank @newbeginningimprovinglives 🤲🏼 @dj_darren_ob_ @realgarybarker1 and @ashleygsinger & co for bringing the vibes 🎶 @stillryan1 for surprising the kids with some incredible dance moves 🕺 @a.ur.tistic for hosting a fantastic free arts & crafts workshop 🎨 @seansplaceuk @confidentlysupport and @andysmanclubuk for raising awareness and sharing support services 🙏🏻 @theislagladstone for providing such a beautiful space free of charge, these guys do so much to support local communities A special shoutout to Diane from @angelsandscalliesparties .
