Recovering some worn out mallets. Thanks to @aleks.head for some pointers and thanks to my mom for gifting me some sewing skills. Surprisingly, the 1st attempt is very functional, not the most aesthetically pleasing though. PASIC will be for another year.

Round 2 from this new duo jam with my buddy @marknelsondrums on drums 🥁 This one features the Moog Messenger — and wow, the wave folding + arpeggiator on this synth are next-level 🚀. Easily one of the most creative arp engines I’ve ever played. Instead of programming or planning things out, I’m pushing myself to tweak live in the moment — exploring parameters, chasing accidents, and letting the sound shape the music ✨. It’s challenging, but also inspiring to stretch beyond my comfort zone. Who knows where this will all lead, but it feels like the start of something 🔥.

A fall drum restoration project has come to completion! So pleased with the results. Special thanks to the folks @precisiondrumcompany for cutting and adhering the inlay. I got ahold of some original claws and Ts to bring this drum closer to era specific. That great Gretsch sound.
