When I was presented with the incredible opportunity to collaborate with @sauconyoriginals , I was determined to create a unique experience that would stay true to the brand’s ethos while maintaining @maybetomorrow identity. Drawing inspiration from the classic Tortoise and Hare fable, I crafted an alternative ending that celebrated the power of collaboration and teamwork over individual competition. This is how the dynamic partnership between Saucony and Maybe Tomorrow came to be. With a playful nod to the animal kingdom, we used innovative materials to breathe life into the footwear, elevating the shoe to a work of art in its own right. But the ultimate goal was to create an immersive experience that would captivate and engage people at every level. And that's exactly what we did for Complexcon. It took months of trial and error, but we were finally able to bring the timeless Fable to life in a truly remarkable way. By 3D printing the shoes into miniature race cars and building out a captivating world for all to see, we made it possible for everyone to participate in the epic Tortoise and Hare race. If you went too fast, you risked flying off the tracks, so we reminded everyone that "Slow and Steady wins the race." We even went as far as making costumes of the tortoise and hare carrying each other too 😂. But none the less, thank you @um.jf13 and Saucony for allowing me to create a world and shoe to share with you.
