Took some time at the end of our portrait series to grab a new set of headshots for myself. Passed the camera to @vikasbakshi and let him play with the set up we built. Portrait sessions are always a dance between the photographer and the subject. It’s a back and forth conversation, there just happens to be a camera in between us.

Painting and drawing were my first mediums as a kid. Over time, I set them aside to focus on my commercial career. This showcase was a way to slowly bring them back into my creative world alongside my photography. It was about creating and sharing work that’s personal, without a brief, without expectations beyond my own. Being able to show pieces ranging from 2009 through 2025 felt like reconnecting with different versions of myself. Thank you to the friends, family, and new faces who came through and took the time to talk, reflect, and share conversations about art. This showcase also came from a conversation @thatsogq and I had about a year ago, dreaming up a way to bring art and music together. Grateful we finally brought that idea to life. There’s more of these that will come, so for those who weren’t able to come through, the next one will be larger and more accessible. When creating this year’s @marcozo Black Friday campaign, we wanted to build a world that felt cold, mysterious, and rooted in a single moment of discovery. Visually/thematically, I pulled inspiration from films like 300, Sin City, and John Wick. Working with cinematographer @angelnavarrofilms helped push that stylized look even further as we shaped the final sequence.
