Interested in our group classes? They’re intentionally invite-only - not to exclude people, but to protect the standard of the sessions and make sure everyone can get the most out of them. That said, if you’re keen, there’s still a pathway in. Most people can join after just a couple of 1:1 sessions with a practitioner to get you up to speed with movement quality, expectations, and how we coach. If performance class doesn’t sound like your thing, but you’re still keen to join the community, we also run a weekly Fundamentals and Boxing Fundamentals class, which are designed to build confidence, technique, and address your dysfunctions at a more accessible pace. Can’t make it to in person classes? We also run have 2 weekly online group classes to accommodate those who live farther away or are simply on busy schedules and can’t make the in person times work. Joint pain and exercise are often linked, but it doesn’t have to be a painful combination. By improving movement patterns that distribute tension and pressure evenly, you can exercise with ease and strengthen your body without compromising your joints. If you’re experiencing pain, it’s likely a sign of underlying structural issues. Running – something many can do but few master. It’s at the top of the food chain as far as movements go. Most people avoid running like the plague, and with good reason. For most people, running is a super compressive exercise, exacerbating dysfunction and leading to increased stress on the body. The problem isn’t running, the problem is people are so far from being capable of running with good mechanics. At FP, we address this issue. We don’t take someone who doesn’t run well and just get them to run. We analyse their gait cycle and systematically address the dysfunctions leading to excessive compression. This leads to a more efficient, pain-free runner. Second only to the United States, Australia has become one of the strongest adopters of FP in the world. And it is not by accident. The locations out there are not surviving. They are producing. Consistent results. Real structural changes. People who move better, hurt less, and perform at a higher level because the standard is clear and the process is disciplined. At the end of the day, FP is about one thing. Moving like a human. For us, that is the First 4. Standing. Walking. Running. Throwing. If you cannot organize your body around those patterns, everything else is noise. Stability is the gateway. And real stability is not squeezing your abs or locking your shoulders back. It is force transfer. The legs interacting with the ground. Power generated through the hips. That force traveling through a stable but dynamic torso. Expressed through the arms. Then returning back down the chain. Human movement is a closed loop. If the legs cannot generate and absorb force properly, the torso compensates. If the torso cannot organize rotation, the shoulders and neck take over. If the feet cannot anchor, nothing above them has a foundation. This is where tools like @theleverageking come in. It is not a gimmick. It is a mechanical amplifier. Based on leverage principles, it increases the demand on the adductors, glutes, and hamstrings while forcing the torso and obliques to organize around that tension. The upper body cannot disconnect. The pelvis cannot drift. The system has to coordinate. You can slow it down and build hypertrophy with intent, driving controlled tension through the legs and into the core.
