We originally went to @hideawayinns to capture some lifestyle photography and video for social — but used it as an opportunity to turn it into a bit of a passion project too. We spent time brainstorming fun perspectives and movement to create a 30 second spot that feels just as fun and intentional as the property itself. @mark.farout from @farout.media killed it with the camera work and editing on this shoot 👏 Teamwork makes the dream work! #hotelvideography #boutiquehotel #travelvideography #destinationmarketing

Our first shoot of the 50 States 50 Stays journey was definitely one to remember. From half the team getting stuck in a snowbank at 2am on the way to our shoot in New Hampshire to pushing through exhaustion, sickness, and all the little challenges that come with winter travel days — we still walked away with something we’re incredibly proud of. But more than anything, I’ll remember getting to do it alongside some of my favorite people. Mark (@farout.media ) on video, Katie, Russell + Drake jumping in as models, and Cody holding down the BTS cam before the stomach bug took him out 😅 @hideawayinns , thank you for having us out to shoot your incredible property. We are so excited for the world to discover your brand and have the amazing experience staying with you like we did. State number one: CRUSHED. And spoiler alert… we’re headed to state number two in two weeks 👀 Think “coastal” for this next one. ⛵️ #hotelphotographer #boutiquehotel #50states50stays #travelphotographer #videographer

Film!!! Finally! Got these back from Jan 2025. I took my point and shoot out to Colorado and man these do not disappoint. I got this camera mainly to bring snowboarding. Also shout to the random guy who took my picture 🤘🏻🎞️ Olympus Mju ii | Kodak Portra 400 #filmphotography #35mm #portra400

Now ending up in Switzerland was not the radar BUT when it’s a couple hour drive north then WHY NOT 🤪 Once we started up the winding road of the mountain pass north of Lake Como, the air chilled, roads got narrower, and the excitement grew to see a new place after just being in my first European country. But before we crossed the border, a stop was needed to grab a cappuccino (best one yet) !!! We got to the other side of the pass and instantly were transported to somewhere that looked nothing like where I woke up that day. We explored Splügen for a bit and then took another way back to Milan. Pretty sure I left my jaw there because I just couldn’t believe it. But this was only a taste of a place that deserves a proper trip to see all its wonder. Switzerland 🇨🇭

Stoked to finally make it to Europe, and Lake Como honestly blew me away. Every morning started with cappuccinos, every night ended with pasta and wine, and somehow it never got old. We stayed in Laglio and spent a day drifting between Bellagio, Menaggio, and Varenna doing our best figuring out how the ferries worked. The quiet streets, boats coming and going, mountains dropping straight into the water. It didn’t feel real half the time. The way people live there with their slow mornings, good food, genuine hospitality felt like such a nice change. Waking up on the lake, hearing church bells in the distance, grabbing another espresso because why not. I get it now! I see why people fall in love with Italy. Super grateful for the chance to be there. Already trying to figure out when I can get back!! 🇮🇹

Usually trips are go go go and having a spot to just relax and chill out was top tier. Nothing beats an A-frame, hot tub, mountain views, and the sound of a river right out front ⛰️ #pnw #hiking #aframe #index
