🎉 34 years on this planet 🪐 I am thankful for everyone who has made this year amazing so far. I appreciate everyone who supported me, my events, and continuing to go to Connected by Craft. This year, I am trying to coordinate more events, host more kids classes, do more for the community, and following my ideas, even if I get a no 💖 Love you all, dont forget you are important and you matter 🥰

Thank you to everyone who came, donated, supported our artists, and heard the voices of @magsthetic & @itsfranny.y . The Lehigh Valley's support has been amazing and we appreciate every single one of you. It was a night filled with those who want change, justice, and to have a serious conversation. Talk to your friends, talk to your family, educate others to speak up. The @alternativegallery won't be silent, we will continue to have events that serve the community, and we will always support artists who need a safe place to express their feelings. Faces and names will not be shown, that is the reality we are facing. This show isn't just uplifting artists voices, but to push a constant conversation. I want everyone to support/join local organizations, go to events, connect with each other, and continue to speak loudly about what is happening.

📖 The Connected by Craft zine is complete!! We appreciate the patience everyone has had. This was a large project, with so many wonderful artists being part of it. 📓 Here is a small video showing what the zine will look like. There is a digital version to look through, and also a PDF to make your own! The link will be in our bio, so please check it out and share it around. If you do make your own, there are instructions you can follow. Remember, make this your own! Put the art pages in whatever order you want, bind it in a fun way, and decorate it however fits best. Due to the amazing support of the LV community, I will now have a table dedicated to donating. It will focus on local organizations and charities to support our community. Any donations given will come with an ABOLISH ICE sticker. We will also have amazing information from Lehigh Valley Stand Up, Lehigh Valley DSA, Make The Road Act Pa, and more. ICE BREAKER features local artists in a political art exhibition at @alternativegallery . Thank you to every artist who has taken the time to express how they feel through art. Special Guests: 7:30pm: Poetry performance ”Spoken Word is Resistance” by @magsthetic . Magnus Mateo (They/He/She) is an event organizer and host of IceHouse Literary Arts Committee in Bethlehem and of Noble Quills in Easton. They have published in various literary magazines and poetry anthologies. They have a debut chapbook "She's Jealous of my Purple Sky" that is published by AlienBuddha Press. Looped screening of video essay by @itsfranny.y titled “Bernal”, which explores 100 years of mass deportation within the US, leading up to ICE. Franny is a filmmaker, photographer, and writer whose work explores the social and political fabric of the Latino experience. He also co-curates Cinema Significa at Artsquest, a film series focused on Hispanic and Latin American stories.

Always crafting, never online 🎨 Sorry, I am very bad at posting. I spent years online every day when I was bed ridden. Now I want to spend every moment not on social media. Though my health was not the best in 2025, I am hoping 2026 brings a lot more answers 💖 Thank *YOU* for Connected by Craft. It exists because of all the beautiful people who support it and share their love of crafting. I hope to capture more adventures this year 🌈
