Planning and weather forecasting was key to make the most of a short time frame to make those lights pop in two different ambients. From the green meadows on the top of the mountains to the gravel paths on the valley floor, the idea was to represent the possibilities that this type of light could bring to outdoor and sports lovers.

If flying is one of the most ancient human dreams, hike and fly might be the perfect culmination of it.
On this day, I teamed up with @evahenneman to stroll around our home mountains in search of some nice light, a few snaps, and a little shared adventure.
Far from numbers and other measurements, the plan was to soak up the autumn sun, catch up on our lives, and put her new wing in the air, making it shine through my lens.
I sometimes still cannot believe how unique it feels to be in the air, taking off from where your legs have taken you and observing a silent world from above.

The last bits of summer are fading away.
Autumn, feels for me a good time to reflect, slow down, and put in perspective every decision made during the year.
I love to see the year by year progress, more than in short term bits. If the journey still being like till now, with all this experiences and great people around, for sure worth some of the struggle we all have to go through.
Here I left some bits of this summer, that fly by too quickly and is never as idilic as it looks but beautiful in all of it.
The perfect summer plan
Hike while the sun is setting, cook something simple, observe how the blues are dressing the landscape, enjoy the natural silence at night, and the warmth of a fresh brewed coffee in the morning at sunrise.
It’s never so idilic, but it’s always so worthy.

This place is such a magical spot, the hike is intense, a bit exposed at times, and definitely beautiful. The early start gave us enough time to enjoy the first rays of sun at the hut, with some coffee and wonderful views.
