Ciao a tutt3, eccoci qua a presentarvi BACI…MARE. La nostra newsletter si può dire, ma che fa un po’ finta di essere un magazine, che é un modo per fare le chiacchiere. Iscrivendovi potete ricevere con cadenza più o meno frequente aggiornamenti su ciò che ci piace e ciò che faremo, ma soprattutto una serie di contenuti su misura per il format, che speriamo possano generare dialogo tra noi e che sono un altro nostro tentativo di fare editoria e di trasmettere informazioni.

As an expansion to the lore of the homonymous book by Lorenzo Benzoni -published by Mare in September 2022- the show presents a selection of works by the artist and hosts a 3 day programme curated by @azadb3k and Mare.

La mutanda bianca, iconico oggetto dell’immaginario omoerotico è il cuore del progetto.
In modo giocoso e ironico Alberto mette in scena una sua idea di sensualità, giocando con gli stereotipi e con la provocazione.
Dove non batte il sole affianca alla ricerca di Alberto un testo inedito del filosofo Lorenzo Bernini che propone una riflessione sul ruolo del sessuale nell’occidente contemporaneo.
Il tutto è presentato all'interno una scatola che contiene: la Mutanda, tre poster e il testo di Bernini.

Nato a Schio(VI) nel 1997 Alberto Cornolò è un fashion designer. Ha conseguito la laurea triennale presso IUAV Venezia e sta attualmente seguendo il corso di laurea magistrale presso la stessa.
Nella sua ricerca Alberto è interessato all’erotismo. Attraverso uno sguardo queer, guarda la pudicizia, la pornografia, l’intimità e il feticcio come elementi da usare per comporre il suo immaginario.

Progettazione comunitaria, cultura convergente e MARE.

Il progetto analizza e racconta il modo in cui Mare pensa all’editoria.
Attraverso una fase di ricerca teorica e la sua formalizzazione progettuale, EDITORIA MEMETICA indaga il rapporto tra editoria e transmedialità. Cerca di individuare e studiare le metodologie del fare progettuale interessandosi ai luoghi sociali, sia analogici che digitali, in cui nasce contenuto culturale.
Editoria memetica è distribuito digitalmente tramite la sua pagina web, dove è possibile scaricare il pdf del progetto e navigare tra le sue references.
Il progetto esiste anche in una versione fisica, prodotta in un limitatissimo numero di copie.
Il libro è composto da un unico foglio lungo 6 metri, poi piegato in modo da ottenere le “pagine”

Is the thesis project of Lorenzo Ercoli, part of Mare pub team. The
prokect was co-curatad with Mare Pub and analizes the way that
Mare works and thinks about its own way of publishing.
Through a theoretical research phase and its design formalisation,
EDITORIA MEMETICA investigates the relationship between publishing and transmediality. It seeks to identify and study the methodologies of design making by taking an interest in the social places,
both analogue and digital, where cultural content is born.
Editoria Memetica is digitally distibuted by Mare through its own web-page where is possible to download the pdf of the essay and
also have a look at its archive of references.
The project also exist in a printed version, produced in a very small number of copies. This version is made by a single printed sheet
of paper which is 6mt long.

The game has stopped working. What is to be done?
“Interregnum. Softlocked in Fisher's Capitalist Realism” is a short essay by @mattiaguarnerio An extra content that expands the lore of our firts issue, “Trying to Get to Heaven Before They Close the Door”.
Lost among videogame glitches, Mattia deals with the crisis of neoliberalism, figuring out concepts and visual ideas to overcome the downward spiral of capitalism.
The guest stars are Mark Fisher, Wolfgang Streeck, 100gecs, Antonio Gramsci, and Lorenzo Benzoni.

Mare publications is happy to announce their first issue:
Trying to get to heaven before they close the door. About spirals, late capitalism and hyperpop by @enzbenz555
Starting with a re-reading of the philosopher Mark Fisher and his analysis of cultural time- which in the 21st century has turned from a straight line into a spiral-Lorenzo Benzoni poses the question: “is it possible to break out of this spiral?”. The book looks at the question from the perspective of Gen z and analyses the consequences and social implications produced by late capitalism. To do so, the author collects his thoughts in a short essay that seems to come out from his smartphone notes. This collection of doubts, fears, lucid and disenchanted visions traces the history of pop music from the 20th century up to hyperpop, relating it to the main socio-political events of the last 50 years. Trying to get to heaven before they close the door is a reflection on the end of time and how to react to it.
Mare presents the book together with an USB key which contains different materials related to the research of the author and also his new track ‘16 Degrees (No Angel)’.
Lorenzo Benzoni is a multidisciplinary artist. Born in 1997 in Bergamo, Italy. The melancholy and the sense of loss that appear in his work come from the failure of all the social, cultural, economical and political structures of the 20th century; percived from a GenZ point of view. The artist places himself between the art world and the SoundCloud rap idea of swag. Elements like lights, stars, data, videogames, nature and traditional fantasy tropes are re-elaborated in an attempt to go further Post-capitalism, suggesting images for the conception of a new world that could be able to answer 21st century needs.
