Part of our IK KIN programme, we are excited to host Only Breath by Breath Quartet
26 March | Doors 7PM start 7.30PM
A live immersive durational performance where electronic sound, voice, movement, and ritual converge around the elemental act of breathing.
Only Breath unfolds over 3 hours as a shared sensory environment moving between sound installation, meditation, and dance floor. Across four movements — WAKE, FLIGHT, DREAM, DANCE — the audience is guided through shifting states of perception and embodied exploration.
Fragments of mythic text, layered electronic soundscapes, vocal improvisation, choreography, and projection create a living feedback loop between sound, body, and space. Audiences are invited to move, rest, listen, and dance within the performance.
Breath Quartet is a collective of four artists: Patrick Ziza (movement), Marcus Herne (sound), James Merrell (visuals), and Margot Wilson (artist and founder). Their fully improvised performances explore breath as rhythm, presence, and collective attunement.

• This is a durational 3 hour journey. You are invited to stay for the whole duration or come back and return as suits your needs
• All ages are welcome

An electronically channelled narrator introduces fragments of mythic text while the breath of the room slowly synchronises.
FLIGHT
Layered harmonics, movement and vocal improvisation expand the environment as audiences move freely within the space.
DREAM
Participants are invited to lie down within a resonant chime-bell sound bath, entering a liminal state between rest and attention. Blankets provided.
DANCE
Contemporary electronic rhythms transform the space into a collective dance floor where performer and audience merge.
