MaskerTheif - Global Game Jam 2026
I participated in another game jam, this jam's theme was "Mask".
I had a great time working on this game with some lovely people I've worked with before, and some new people I had a wonderful time getting to know.
We decided to build the game in PICO-8 (same engine Celeste started out in). It is sort of an emulator for how they made games in the past, so it came with a lot of limitations, such as a limited color pallet, limited image sizes and even a limit on how many lines of code you can write. All those made it a really cool and fun challenge, and I think we did a great job!
I am actually in love with this game and think it has a promising future, so I might develop it further.

I had no other than Marcus Galic co-produce HOW TO MEND A BROKEN HEART. I knew exactly how I heard the piano line go, but I couldn’t deliver it. So I asked him “Hey, can you play the piano to this song?” And what do you know? The piano line was done in one take with his Marcus flare. Then the rest of the song continued uphill from there. Strings and Electric Guitar were all elements added to create this beautiful and nostalgic sound.
Still gets me til this day.
