Perimetro Awards 2026 - Marzo
Vi presentiamo la giuria di questo mese:
Marco Mucig @marcomucig , Regista
Melissa Peritore @melissaperitore , @lomographyitalia
Mario Beltrambini @belmar , @sifest

Ten days in the Pacific Northwest. 5am every morning. A different place each time.
I was there for the new Fay Archive campaign: five people living in radical ways, between Seattle, the San Juan Islands, Orcas Island, and Oregon.
The light in that area is soft, diffused, almost suspended between clouds and water. And it changes constantly.
I shot this project with the Nikon ZR, part of my collaboration with Nital and @nikonitalia . It is the first camera to come out of the Nikon Ă— @reddigitalcinema partnership, and what that means in practice is a shared colorimetry between the two systems. They talk to each other so you can move between the two seamlessly.
Campaign coming soon. These are travel frames, shot on iPhone.

Over two years ago, I started writing “Behind the Frame”. Back then, nobody was talking about newsletters. Now everyone’s suddenly discovered Substack.
I share projects in development, wrong turns taken and lessons learned on set.
I write about the things I’m genuinely curious about: how the role of the director is changing, what it means to create valuable work while the world races toward AI.
It’s about staying connected to questions about authorship and authenticity.
A space exploring the messy process of telling stories.

AIDA | Now streaming on RaiPlay
I spent a year documenting the work of a group of young researchers at Politecnico di Milano developing autonomous vehicles.
From this experience came AIDA: 55 minutes telling their challenges, the tests, and a vision set to transform the world as we know it.
This isn’t a documentary about technology. It’s the story of a group of young people determined to make their mark with their work.
Link in bio to stream on RaiPlay. On TV on Rai3 October 14.

AIDA | Is on RaiPlay 🎬
18 months in the making. One year spent with a team of young researchers. 55 minutes of story.
AIDA tells the vision of Politecnico di Milano’s autonomous driving project: not just how the technology works, but above all who are the people determined to transform the way we move.

I decided to cut my hair, to shave it all off. Not just a simple change of look, but a rite of passage.
I’d wanted to do it for so long but was afraid — afraid of others’ judgment.
Sometimes you need a radical gesture to remind yourself that the only approval that matters is your own.
It was liberating.
I filmed and photographed that moment with @alessandrotreves as if it were a performance. Thank you for playing this game and capturing this moment.
I never wanted to be a director. It felt distant, impossible. Then came music videos and something clicked.
I like exploring places I’ve never seen, people who live in my head. Creating authentic worlds.
You probably don’t really know what I’ve been up to. So I thought: why not tell it through a video?
