“ELECTRIC WOMAN”
A short story about anxiety, trust, and acceptance.
Written as a recount of my own personal experiences/dilemmas in dealing with love. What does performance look like in a place where you’re already accepted?
This is the most vulnerable and literal I’ve been with my work thus far, and appreciate the care and understanding with which my team and talent had when creating this. Thank you.
This film caused me to confront my self in totality; thoughts of shame, guilt, and my lack of understanding skewed my perception. We shot this almost a year ago but at the time I felt that it wasn’t ready, or maybe I wasn’t. Thinking on it now, maybe I needed to catch up to the work.
