Last night’s CSC ceremony was definitely a career highlight for me. Hard to put into words the gratitude I feel in winning Best Cinematography in a dramatic series for my work on Shogun. The fact that this award is voted on by my peers and fellow cinematographers makes this receiving this award very gratifying.
Congratulations to my fellow nominees
@pierregill_dp ,
@brutes ,
@jeremy_benning and
@dmacleod whose work speaks so much to the immense quality of the Canadian cinematography these days. It is an honour to be included in this group.
A big shout out to
@jvantulleken and
@edjibevel for setting such a high visual standard on the pilot. All of Shogun’s successes have come from the heavy lifting you guys in building this world for the rest of us to inhabit. Everything has grown from that first seed you planted and we are all indebted to your mastery and vision.
