big shout out to @max.ruibal for a sesh at Cat Rock that inspired me to try a couple of the climbs there. some of the more fun, approachable bouldering I’ve done in CP with a funky top out that took me a couple tries to figure out😵💫

came out the other day to support @gowanusclimbersunited and a few other local unionized gyms🙏🏾as a former gym employee I know how much work goes on behind the scenes to make the gym and the overall community such a welcoming and safe space. unfortunately in today’s economy the people who work to make our climbing gyms feel like a coterie aren’t being paid a living wage in one of the most expensive cities in the world. if we value this sport we love so much, we must value the people who bring the sport to life.

not the climb I showed up for but really glad @lunaadler showed me this classic🫶🏽antiquated name aside (really not even the worst named climb at this boulder) it was really fun, a little sketchy but absolutely worth a try🫡
