Gurkha Knife V9 My proudest ascent to date!! HUGE enduro bloc that had my legs shaking the first time I tried moves in iso. Powerful cave moves lead you into a perfectly sculpted bowling ball hold and pinch to a knife’s edge, where a pumpy overhang sequence transitions into a terrifying slab-to-mushroom topout with barely visible slopey pockets. A @jasonkehl_cryptochild FA ‍ ️Topped out in disbelief with the wind whipping in my ears. I worked through lots of doubts and fear that crept up. Super grateful to @coltonhuynh who supported big time, spotted me, AND did this with a sprained ankle!! Even Lovely V9 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ aesthetic, classic gunks bloc! I first saw this boulder a year ago, but thought it was impossible for me to do. after ~3 sessions and the support of friends, I’m absolutely stoked the pieces came together special thanks @_tcwong @pwang96 for the wholesome and mega day! p.s. s/out to the mystery person (??) who left their teal pad here. Big Nose Milley V9 beyond stoked to put down this steep, slopey pocketed roof! first of the grade, first barefoot ascent, first “tono” (toe mono). The Exterminator V6 @ central park, 2x speed.this is a tricky lil climb! I always avoided it due to its eliminates, aka holds you can’t touch. sure enough, I thought I sent this, then realized I piano matched a 1mm crystal that was off, so I went back the next day, sent it again, then realized I touched a hold 1 cm above the correct hold?! Central Park giveth and Central Park taketh! anyways this should be correct now, 3rd time’s the charm, and the movement is actually really nice! get on this! crux in the 1st half and slab crux on microcrimps at the end. enjoy this shortie beta I made up as existing videos may show the wrong holds... Scrawny and Brawny V8 Super delicate, tough problem with multiple low percentage moves on polished slopey crimps that rival Central Park’s Learned every move and dropped it on every move Surprised to pull this off in what might be my best climbing performance yet finishing this after Gurkha Knife V9 plus a bonus flash of Scrawny Right V7.
