We work with dance artists and create performances, but unfortunately our parents haven’t been able to attend any of them over the past few years. We live in Barcelona, while they live in Lipetsk, and traveling home takes almost two days and requires significant expense.
That’s why we came up with the idea of creating a dance video — like a letter. A letter through which we share how we live, what we are working on, and what matters to us right now. Through dance, we want to shorten the distance between us and allow our family to feel our presence, even from far away🫶🏻

GULA es un videodanza que parte de una pregunta:
¿qué ocurre cuando el deseo de poseer al otro se vuelve más fuerte que el amor? ¿Cómo puede algo tan hermoso volverse tan terrible?
La pieza representa el pecado capital de la gula, pero no como hambre de alimento, sino como hambre emocional: una necesidad de fusión, de consumir al otro para poder existir.
Dos mujeres —dos cuerpos casi idénticos— se buscan, se confunden, se devoran simbólicamente.
Una danza sobre la dependencia, la pérdida de identidad y el intento de romper un ciclo que siempre vuelve.
El movimiento se convierte en metáfora: como el uróboro, las une y las destruye al mismo tiempo.
