On January 20th, 2002 Rhume were going about our business celebrating the release of Jeu de Puissance at @leespalace for @wavelengthmusic night and I was violently attacked by an amateur wrestler by the name of Bad Boy Batty Bat. He hit me over the head with a metal folding chair and beat me repeatedly before dragging me onto a set of folding chairs so he could administer his patented move: The Nexus 6! Thankfully very little blood was shed and we managed to finish the scrappiest version of “Turn Up the Jets” ever played. Don’t let wrasslers into your shows!
