@filippa_k HELSINKI flagship store metal details. The rails mix a refined chrome finish with roughly welded connections between horizontal and vertical pipes that resemble thin branches of trees. Tempered connections create variety of colours and use a technique often used in car tuning to highlight single metal parts. The cash desk is designed by the brilliant @lukas_wegwerth and made from recycled aluminium plates moulded in sand to create a unique texture for each piece. @filippa_k HELSINKI flagship store interiors, architecture @profan.img vintage furniture together with genius @venemi__ and of course Liisa Kessler. Vintage reupholstered Hain & Thome sofa as a hidden reference to Liisa’s German. Such a nice and almost forgotten classic that we used first here and quickly became a favourite. Various vintage wooden chairs and objects sourced during countless nights surfing the worldwide web:) still in awe of the crazy 70s “stone chair” @fundamente___ and the wooden wabisabi chair by @goldwoodbyboris . The idea behind the furniture was to break up the perfect and clean lines with various sensual, unusual and more fun elements and shapes that take inspiration from the Swedish Nature and Archipelago.
HELSINKI flagship store together with @profan.img Inspired by the the colours of the sky during Scandinavian summer nights we built a light ceiling who adjusts to the time of the day. During opening hours the store is fully lit and changes after closing hours with a simulated summer sunset from warm yellow and orange tones to dark blues hues. Second slide is a a slightly too trippy footage i took while looking like a fool bending over backwards:) image @studioamosfricke
