About a month ago I was in Sweden for almost three weeks, visiting Copenhagen another time just before coming back to Belgium. As I’m not that much of a city person I have to say that I always enjoy being back there, especially during summer time.
Made a little stop @radio_panini while I was there to do an early session with elements of dub and ambient.

@ron_nooo is a selector from Kortrijk, currently based in Brussels. Member of local community radio @ok.radio and resident with his @__fastfrwrd__ show on Brussels community radio @microwave.live
Moved by different rhythms and textures, Ron_no likes to scour the edges of the unconventional, challenging himself to find peculiar connections between genres and feelings. He aims to intrigue and enthrall with his love for odd-ball percussion, bass-heavy sounds, noisy soundscapes or even melting synths. Translating the energy of his surroundings into entrancing sonic journeys. Dive in! ･ﾟ࿐
Ron_no will be spending the night behind the desk back2back with Omaan. @manooo.th has a sharp ear for irregular rhythms and forward-thinking sound design. Always digging beyond the obvious, he focuses on contrast and detail to keep things unpredictable but grounded.
Went over to La France last week for the second edition of @positiveeducation ‘s pe:rsona festival. Really cool what happened over there.
Such a cozy terrain, mixed with a proper sound system and a lovely crowd. What started as a (muddy) playground during the day, turned into an extraterrestrial spacecraft during the night. As you can see, the mighty rain definitely was part of the experience.
I’ve been enjoying these smaller festivals a lot. It’s a really nice thing to be able to actually feel the connection with other likeminded people, in a more intimate community-driven environment. It might sound like something that’s easy to create but I think you will have to do very well to let people experience such thing. Here to say you did good pe:rsona.

A cozy atmosphere, lots of smiles and nice people around. The opening weekend of Microwave’s new studio was très bien and I’m happy to have been a part of it.
