Something that is very meaningful to me is coming soon. 🫶
Over the past months, I’ve been working closely with around 50 incredibly talented artists and collaborators on a three-part fundraising CD compilation. This project came to life through collective effort; from music and mastering to artwork and organization, and through a shared desire to turn creativity into concrete support.
Today, civilian life in Gaza is defined by devastating conditions: people are living in tents under ongoing bombardments, with extremely limited access to food, clean water, electricity, medical care, and safe shelter.
In the West Bank, daily life is shaped by settler violence and state violations, leaving many communities exposed to displacement, insecurity, and the constant threat of losing their homes and livelihoods.
On Friday, we will celebrate the release of Volume 1
@thfradio in Berlin. For this evening, we’ve put together a lineup that offers a glimpse into the sound of Vol. 1, while also looking ahead to what’s coming on Vol. 2 and Vol. 3, which will be released over the coming months.
The compilation will be released on Common Tongue, a newly founded, non-commercial, volunteer-run label dedicated exclusively to fundraising releases and events.
All proceeds from the compilation series will be donated to Medico International:
