🏁 100 years… and the memories still coming South LA 🌴
🗽🇺🇸 I’ll never forget sitting in Ms. Hacker’s class on 9/11 watching the world change in real time.
🏈🩻Broke my first bone playing football—full contact, no pads.
🥷👊🏾 Got into my first fight just trying to stand up to bullies.
🎴Learned dominoes as therapy… kept me out of trouble.
🏀 Went to Nike camp and found out real quick my jumper was broke 😭
🔫💪🏾 Joined ROTC and made it through a tough early 2000s.
This school helped shape me.
Now it’s grown.. and expanded to 12th grade, and still standing strong while the neighborhood continues to evolve.
Different era… same foundation.
If you ever walked those halls, this one’s for you.
Let’s come back, reconnect, and celebrate where it all started.
