Finally! The Spider Mask Showcase! Just some BTS clips from shoot day! Made this mask for @locustgarden for the Post Credits Scene!
Super happy with how this mask came out and with the pincer jaw mechanics I had to figure out. All 4 pincers open when my jaw opens. I put everything i knew and more into making this mask which is probably THE art piece if not one of my favorite pieces I've ever made.
Still need to make adjustments if I want to make a mask like this wearable for anybody like my usual open jaw masks, but happy with my film/production ready version. Took a couple months to achieve this result.

Year 2 Virtual Production reel! @cinepacks.studios so many cool projects this past year that really helped push me and my team to make crazier environments. Been getting even better at photo matching and getting better results out of ambient lighting along with blending foreground and digital props seamlessly and consistently.
and now we've been getting into full cg shots
and creatures which is super exciting

Making new tools/rigs for any future 2D animations i do in Unreal
i copied the animation from one building's foliage with EVERY parameter animated (even the bones it didn't have A-Z, 1-3) and because every foliage is set up differently, everything looks offset. Using control rig procedural rigs to set this up modularly

WIP Demon BB IK/FK switch (on main top hand)
Tip: Once animation is almost done, go to the frame it leaves contact and key the IK/FK at both sides assuming you have it set up to auto key IK and FK when switching.
clean up any weird curves and you have a smooth transition!

So I step outside with @promshark and we walk into a robot drama ðŸ˜
The waymo couldnt leave cause the door was still open, we hate waymo, so we left it.
Then we see the fire department come and we thought it was there to save the waymo and it parks directly next to it.
Then out of nowhere a robot comes and I jokingly said it was there to save the waymo too and it actually started going towards it 😂
finally, @jjktowing , when no one else could, came to save the day 🤣🤣
This was the single most entertaining time I have ever walked outside my house.
this is the unreal engine content you follow for lol didnt match it too perfectly cause was just for a joke, but decent job for a 30 min time limit including loading project/assets lol
