Yet another massive thanks to @theemikebdj for rocking his @malwarevirusdotnet flip phone t-shirt at the opening of @glenjamn ‘s art show, “Low-Res/Hi-Def” at @hvw8gallery last Wednesday! Mike went b2b with @frankichan and got the asses shaking, noughties-style. Keep watching to see Mike smashing a laptop. As for Glenjamn’s art show, it’s a must-see. Get there before April 27th to witness the glory. For those who aren’t familiar, Glenjamn is THE guy who documented the electro/bloghouse scene in LA from the mid-00s onwards. If you, like I, feel a periodic need to watch video of Justice playing at LA Weekly Detour Fest in 2007, Glenjamn is your point person. This current show at HVW8 is an unbelievable collection of archival photo, video, and ephemera from the “classic era,” 2006-2011. So if you want to revisit those years, or if you’re learning about them for the first time, go take a look at this mindblowing assortment of primary source documents. ATTENTION! Medium-sized news. The brand that was previously known as LIKE AND SHARE WEAR is now called MALWAREVIRUS.NET ( @malwarevirusdotnet ). It just seems punchier in the long term, ya know? I was feeling bothered by the possibility of “like and share wear” being confused for “like and share ware,” because you actually can get the designs on mugs and stuff, so both ways technically work. It was also totally ungoogleable, and seemed like it was never even going to show up in the teepublic search. Anyway malwarevirus.net is easy, you can just go on the website and click on the blue text there, and it will take you to the teepublic store, which now has the URL: teepublic.com/user/malwarevirusdotnet , as opposed to the previous /likeandshare, which I’ve been told will continue to work anyway, in case you are coming from Movies Babyyyyy (there’s a new @moviesbabyyyyy broadcast tonight actually, jsyk), or wherever else I might have put up that link. After a short period of reflection, I realized that the proper @likeandsharewear store URL (teepublic.com/user/likeandshare) is cumbersome and unmemorable 👎 . For that reason, I decided to crack open the cellar and dust off a domain that I’ve been sitting on for years: 👹 👹 – a URL that you mightn’t soon forget!! 😎 👍👍👍👍 I spent a couple hours learning how to design a website for free (easier than you’d expect) and VOILA!
