Dozens of immigrant families protested over the weekend behind the fences of a detention center in Texas, where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father are being detained after being apprehended by ICE last week. More than 100 refugees with no criminal records have been kidnapped in Minnesota and flown to detention centers in Texas.
The House has passed a DHS funding bill that does not rein in ICE, but it still has to pass the Senate. Call your Senators today to oppose more funding for ICE!
Abolish ICE. Free them all.

3. Find 3-5 minutes each day to call your reps and ask them to take immediate steps to de-escalate the situation by 1) calling for a permanent ceasefire, 2) pressuring Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, and 3) refusing to send any additional weapons or funding to the Israeli military. Power half hour every day at 12pm PST with @jvpaction (link in bio).
4. 80% of the weapons used by Israel come from the US. This is the moment the US military reserve ship Cape Orlando, scheduled to carry bombs to Israel, left the Port of Oakland after a non-violent direct action in which several activists locked themselves to the ship’s ladder for 8 hours. The action aimed to draw attention to the relationship between weapons manufacturers in the US and the bombs that have been dropped on Gazan hospitals, schools, residential units, mosques, refugee camps and infrastructure - all of which constitute war crimes under the Geneva Convention.
5. Over 800 beloved anti-Zionist Jewish friends and family calling for a ceasefire in the Oakland Federal Building, reminding us that anti-Zionism is not anti-semitism!
