Tearing down my “new to me” 4.3, a few months ago I blew the 4.3 in my Astrovan after it dropped oil pressure. It tore up a bearing and seized the motor. I picked up a used 4.3 out of a sierra and am going through it. I’m glad to have these skills. I am able to swap the engine refresh the new engine and buy some new steering components all for under $1000. Not to mention I have a lower mileage spare transmission now.

So we took Akil to meet his East Coast Family for the first time… his first time on a plane, bus and train all in a week. We visited family in Baltimore and then went up to hang out with family In Brooklyn.

Happy 2nd Born day to my son Akil! It’s wild how quickly time moves. I find myself looking at pictures from 6 months ago thinking how I already miss certain stages, but We are blessed and enjoying every moment. Me and @_mama_steez_ have created a beautiful home and with the help of our loving family and community Akil walks through life with a well deserved chip on his shoulder.
