In recognition of Suicide Awareness Month, I want to share a piece of my story with someone who might need to hear this: you are seen, you are valued, and you are deeply loved. Years ago, I didn’t believe those words applied to me. I couldn’t see any value, worth, or love in my own life. I remember the moment clearly, when I was ready to give up completely. But at my lowest point, the Giver of Life stepped in and saved me…literally!!!!
As I was walking out the door, God sent two angels,
@coach_wha and
@marioflem to my home to interrupt the enemy’s plan. In a sacrificial act of love, they washed my feet and reminded me of the unshakable identity, worth, and purpose I had in Christ… not because of who I was, but because of who He is. That encountered marked me forever! It was one of the most powerful experiences of my life and a tangible reminder that God sees me, even in my darkest moments.
So if you’re reading this and struggling to find hope, please know… you are loved more than you could ever imagine by a good Father who has loved you with an everlasting love! Your life matters! Check in on someone today.
Ask them, “You good?” It might make all the difference.
