Doing what I love♥️
London Fashion Week has been on my bucket list for years, and to finally achieve this milestone is overwhelming in the best way and I’m still taking it all in. To be surrounded by artists who share the same passion and enthusiasm to contribute to a vision months in the making—it’s an experience that words can’t fully capture.
Backstage runs on pure adrenaline, and I’m beyond grateful to have played a role in bringing these creative concepts to life alongside incredible makeup artists, hair stylists, designers, and photographers. Huge thanks to
@aofmakeup for creating a space for grads to grow, connect, and be part of something bigger and I’m thankful for the amazing key artists who taught me so much
@beccisbrushes @mandygakhal @michellewebbmakeup 🤍
I chose this career at 16, and 10 years later, I can say with certainty—it was the best decision I ever made. This industry teaches discipline, pushes boundaries, and constantly challenges you to evolve. But most importantly, it’s about PEOPLE.
I’ve always believed in celebrating and empowering those who sit in my chair. For me, every face tells a story, and makeup isn’t about covering—it’s about enhancing, about bringing out the light that’s already there. Working with such a diverse range of skin tones and textures at this event was an absolute thrill and a pure depiction of how important it is to understand the person in front of you and to build a trusting relationship while creating a friend along the way.
Whether its backstage or with bridal clients, the key is to paint with honesty and make the most of this time.
While I’ve been pursuing other goals outside of this, stepping back into my element feels so right.
Here’s to new chapters, fresh creativity, and all that’s to come!
Love,
S
