I used to hoard piles and piles of fashion magazines and read reviews all about the MET, at age 16 in college I would reference an abundance of MET looks to then carry that on in university by meticulously analysing the makeup looks by staying awake long enough to get to see a glimpse of the celebrities hit those famous MET stairs and now, it’s finally my turn! This has been at the top of my career goals, to see my makeup displayed on those iconic stairs at the world’s biggest event in the fashion calendar and I feel honoured that it’s Rita I get to experience that with, especially for her 10th MET. I first did her makeup in 2022 in St Barths and we have collaborated together ever since. Rita is one of the most down to earth, kindest and warmest people I have ever had the privilege to have worked with.
