Here’s a Sunday in my life as an entrepreneur with a 9-5. I rarely sit home and watch tv on a weekend(as if I own a tv), weekends is one of the only times I get to focus fully on my business and family. But I honestly love the life I live and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

The past few months have been crazy busy and I’m just grateful to be alive, healthy, and doing what I love every single day.
I remember when I was barely getting shoots, wishing, waiting, praying for this life. Now I’m living it and realizing I dreamed too small 😅. It’s time to double up, aim higher, and make an even greater impact.
I’m thankful for how far I’ve come, but I’m even hungrier for what’s next.

Quarter of a Century💚
I’ve been thinking all day about what to type here. Words don’t really do the last year of my life justice. The lessons I’ve learned, the people I’ve gained, the people I’ve lost (good riddance), the strides I’ve made, the fears I’ve overcome. These experiences have molded me into who I am today.
Stepping into this new chapter I am more “me” than I’ve ever felt. I thank God for always protecting me from what I thought I wanted and redirecting me.
I wish my grandmother was here to see the woman I’ve become, I miss her so much. Her birthday is 2 weeks after mines and what I wouldn’t give to be able to celebrate with her. I love you Ma Vera.
The concepts for this years shoot took on a special meaning for me as I had to pick through which pictures from my childhood to use. The selection process invoked a lot of emotions and self reflection. I’ve come so far and I still have further to go.
Thinking about myself at 16,18,20, even at 23, I can’t believe how much I’ve evolved, how much I’m growing, how I’ve matured. And you know what’s so funny? I’m just getting started.
As I reflect on my 2024 goals, I realize how much I’ve accomplished within these last 10 months.
My life drastically changed before my eyes.
I’ve accomplished 75% of my goals and the biggest accomplishment was my income goal 💸💸
Twerking to the bank 🥳💃🏼
This is a huge accomplishment for me.
Last year, I was struggling to make my monthly payments and I was mad at myself because I left my good nail job @bonitanailsbydrew to follow my dreams - but wasn’t seeing the fruits of my labor.
BUT THIS YEAR!!!!! I WAS EATING MY HARVEST! (Only God) 🥳🥳🥳💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💸💸💸😇🙃
Through being consistent, intentional, and allowing my faith to arise, I saw the hands of God moved in my life.
Not just my business but with my family, health, and personal goals.
Listen to me! So much can change in 12 months once you are consistent, persistent, and intentional‼️
As I continue to celebrate 3 years of being a full-time goal-setting strategy and wrap up the last 8 weeks of 2024, I’m determined to execute 1 more goal I’ve been working on.
And if it doesn’t happen within the next 8 weeks I’ll be happy to know that I’m walking into 2025 one step closer to accomplishing it.
Again, so much can change in your life “for the good” within 12 months.
You just have to:
1️⃣ Forgive Yourself.
2️⃣Plug yourself in a healthy environment.
3️⃣Believe in yourself and your gifts.
Don’t walk the new year with the same excuses from 2019.
