I don't really have many words left seeing I went ham with this poem but I do want to express how grateful I am for everything that's happened to me this past year.
From the people I've met and loved, the experiences both crushing and filling, it's been a year of discovery. It's a nice reminder that life always has more up its sleeve, and that the universe does work in ur favor, even if mysterious or fucking ass at times
I guess I'm always learning what it means to really be me, who I want to be, and it's a fun process (also disarraying dawg)! but through everything, I'm so fucking proud of who I am.
Now i spent a week on this straight as I really wanted to share something of my year, let me do me, let me be, over-romanticize and make shitty nostalgia baited edits because damn, I love my life

Life seems to be a journey through different waves of authenticity, different versions of what you call the 'you' in your art and it is an oscillating process between various, various sides of your soul.
One day you wake up with new perspectives, and as you work on them some click and others don't.
And some stand out as the visions you have in your mind, bringing out the thread life seems to string and tie together.
I share these to have, by my side, in the world, somewhere, all the parts of me I learn to love and/or to accept.
Some parts aren't as fulfilling as you might have expected, but they are a part of the foundation you have laid to build your identity today.

More photos of our 2024 Japan trip, dated 26.04.25! My cinematography teacher (we love you fredou) had us exercising w photography, it really motivated me to get uncomfortable and take pictures of people.
The brown monochromatic (I think its called that, the color) really resonated with me, it added this flair I couldn't feel with colors or a simple black&white. It gave the pictures more history.
Almost like old war photography, maybe someday i'll print them and people will think I lived in the 30s. (ahead of our time in terms of swag)
And photography holds so much depth in its stillness. All beautiful stories tell themselves you just have to find a way to see it.
