It is often what artists see every day that they eventually transform into an edition. A small, almost insignificant object at first — suddenly acquiring singular value. Because the artist has truly seen it. Anastasia Bay paints in acrylic. She works with large paint containers fitted with pouring spouts. With repeated use, coloured paint accumulates, drips, and gradually solidifies around the nozzle. Over time, these hardened drips form unique shapes, sculpted by gesture and repetition. Anastasia carefully removes and preserves them. Each one is different, marked by the circular imprint of the spout, carrying the direct trace of the creative process. From this material — born out of daily studio practice — emerges the idea of transformation: passing a chain through the form so that it becomes something to wear. Both abstraction and fragment of the studio, this edition is available in two finishes — silver and gold-plated silver — and is presented as an exclusive collaboration with MANIFESTE STUDIO.
