ANASTASIA BAY ARTIST JEWELRY LAUNCH LIMITED EDITIONS! Already available to order at: LAUNCH: May 23, 2026, 6–9 PM CCINQ - 2 rue de Ligne 1000 Brussels During the opening of the exhibition PAINTING! It is often what artists see every day that they eventually transform into an edition. A small, almost insignificant object at first — suddenly acquiring singular value. Because the artist has truly seen it. Anastasia Bay paints in acrylic. She works with large paint containers fitted with pouring spouts. With repeated use, coloured paint accumulates, drips, and gradually solidifies around the nozzle. Over time, these hardened drips form unique shapes, sculpted by gesture and repetition. Anastasia carefully removes and preserves them. Each one is different, marked by the circular imprint of the spout, carrying the direct trace of the creative process. From this material — born out of daily studio practice — emerges the idea of transformation: passing a chain through the form so that it becomes something to wear. Both abstraction and fragment of the studio, this edition is available in two finishes — silver and gold-plated silver — and is presented as an exclusive collaboration with MANIFESTE STUDIO. Un point d’accroche concentre points de vue et points de tenue. Presque invisible, le clou est une figure discrète et décisive, impliquant déjà dépendances et tensions. L’étançon, une force structurelle. En relation, ils supposent une surface, une épaisseur dans laquelle mordre, en résistance avec celle-ci. L’aplomb que cette dynamique suppose n’est pas seulement structurel, mais aussi esthétique et symbolique. Il engage une manière de faire face, de faire tenir, dans toute son épaisseur sensible. Rien ne tient jamais seul. Een bevestigingspunt brengt gezichtspunten en steunpunten samen. De spijker, bijna onzichtbaar, is een onopvallende en doorslaggevende figuur, die al afhankelijkheden en spanningen impliceert. De steunbalk, een structurele kracht. In hun onderlinge relatie veronderstellen ze een oppervlak, een dikte waarin ze zich kunnen vastbijten, in weerstand daarmee. De evenwichtigheid die deze dynamiek veronderstelt, is niet alleen structureel, maar ook esthetisch en symbolisch. Ze impliceert een manier van het hoofd bieden, van vasthouden, in al haar voelbare dikte. Niets staat ooit op zichzelf. A fixing point brings together points of view and points of support. Almost invisible, the nail is a discreet yet decisive element, already implying dependencies and tensions. The strut is a structural force. Together, they presuppose a surface, a thickness to bite into, in resistance to it. The poise implied by this dynamic is not merely structural, but also aesthetic and symbolic. It involves a way of facing up to things, of holding them in place, in all their tangible depth. Nothing ever stands alone. Bleret/Carpentier, Queer Intifada, flags, 300x200 cm, 2025. Two flags are exhibited on the CCINQ facade, marking the support of the queer community for Palestine. The phrase comes from a one-man show by Josh Healey (2014) where he talks about finding himself in the midst of two simultaneous demonstrations: one for a free Palestine, the other in defense of the gay movement. Entrer dans un cimetière, c'est toujours quelque chose. Chez moi, ils sont tous morts, alors dans ces moments-là, ils sont tous très présents. C'est surprenant de trouver des palmiers dans un cimetière. Mais comme disait Martino on a l'impression que tout est là, "it perfectly fit your work". Ça fait un moment que je photographie ces palmiers comme si je faisais des portraits. Comme je faisais il y a pas mal de temps quand je photographiais des garçons inconnus dans la rue avec ce même SX70. Ce matin je suis revenu à "Campo dell Palme" dans le cimetière de Bologne pour reprendre quelques photos. Après, il y a un petit bar pas très loin où j'aime bien prendre mon premier café. Il n'y a jamais que moi sur la terrasse. Je repense à mon rêve de cette nuit. Un oiseau de Paradis, lumineux, fait de pierres précieuses, rubis, diamants et saphirs, vole au-dessus de moi. Ses mouvements saccadés, typiques, me font tourner la tête à gauche et puis à droite, il m'observe.
